About Ji Bei Chuan

Located at 960 Florin Rd, Sacramento, CA 95831, Ji Bei Chuan operates as a chinese noodle serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Sacramento; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ji Bei Chuan at (916) 333-8086; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is jibeichuansacramento.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 12 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Loved the food! Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was great. Definitely coming back!

Service was disorganized from the start. Staff didn’t realize there was a sign‑in sheet until I pointed it out, and no one explained the scan‑to‑order system, so we weren’t sure it even worked until we confirmed with a server. Three dishes came quickly, but the fish maw beef noodle soup special never arrived β€” my companion finished eating before we got the soup after we asked two servers. We had the Beef Noodle Soup (soup was not hot); Salt & Pepper Squid (good flavor but the squid was not cut into edible bites, ask for a knife or scissor. Beef Chow Fun (pass on this one, this is not the place to order canto dishes); lastly, the one dish I would come back for is the Fish Maw Beef Rice Noodle soup (good). Service remained confusing β€” forgotten water, inconsistent communication, and not authentic by any standard.

There was a rat or a large mouse that ran across the floor during a lunch rush. The meat was very heavy on the gristle. The calamari was perfectly cooked and just needed a touch more salt and pepper.

Came for the first time with my 2 young kids and partner, the staff was super friendly and my kids had fun! Place is very cute inside and clean, the food portions were great! Everything was really good 😊 Excited about the full opening since at the moment its a "soft opening" β˜ΊπŸ’• They have a variety of options and I LOVED how organized they are and the menu πŸ₯°

The food was okay… but the environment was so bad, none of the utensils are provided before I ask. The server was extremely untrained. One of them don’t even know how to take order with a iPad. I Understand that it’s soft opening, but the whole store is just chaos, I wait so long for the food I order and the server told me the food I order ran out 20 minutes after I order. Honestly, it’s such a bad experience that I won’t recommend anyone to come, at least before they completely train the whole Service team again.
